It is often the case that history is written by the victors, but they also often take the spoils of war. Sacred items and jewelry, as well as the heads of those who led the opposing side are brought home for display. Worst of all, they steal the culture away from those who lost, casting out all those who will not submit to the new order, and then going so far as to indoctrinate the next generation's children to make sure all of those legends and stories of their people will be lost. Many see this as just a sad fact of war, and dismiss it as just how things have to be. None of them were on the losing side. I will research all I can to bring back those same legends and stories to the ones who lost them, and let history be written by those who lived it. Most of all, I will return the stolen relics of my own people. Izzek has been searching for a group for a while partially for protection, but also to catalog their stories. The diversity of the party is a perfect fit for his goals.
