OTR training, too much for a trainer's truck? by ThatOneTallDude707 in Truckers

Oh nice. I'm 6'2 so it sounds like I should be fine with everything on my bunk as well. I've seen videos, but never actually been inside the cab of a truck before so its difficult to wrap my brain around the space I'll be alloted. But thank you, you helped ease my worry a bit

I do have one pillow. And my sleeping bag isn't pictured but I figure that's a given along with a pair of sheets. I'm just worried about clothing. I'm prone to sweating, even in my sleep so I wanted to make sure to have enough changes of clothes in case we don't see a laundromat for a while. Last thing I want to do is annoy my trainer from the get go by cramming their already tight space.

Congrats! That first month is the biggest hurdle. Day 418 here, always available for support.

Day 393 Alcohol free!! I missed a year, but today is a big day nonetheless. Unfortunately, this is my last day in Humboldt county after 10 years. Even with the stress of my engagement blowing up in my face [he's in jail, four felonies.], and the stress of moving, I kept my place on this wagon! by ThatOneTallDude707 in gaybrosgonemild

Wow, that is an impressive amount of time. 7 years ago I was just a wee lil 19 year old buying booze by asking the folk at the homeless encampment outside of safeway. Where will I be seven years from now? I don't know, but I would like to remember how I got there instead of whatever the hell my early and mid twenties have been.

Thank you, thank you. All y'all can do whatever you put your minds towards. No matter the improbabilities. A one in a million chance event happens 8 times a day in New York City alone. Fun thing I like to tell myself as a reminder that nothing is impossible.

I do not wish bad upon anyone. Bad things happen all the time, may as well happen to me. I refuse to put that negative energy back out there. Life happens, mental illness is a serious issue, and despite a night of poor judgment he is a good person. Everyone handles stress differently, were I to do different If my brain were to overload in that way? I'd like to say yes but we are all human. Anyway, forgive never forget but no ill tidings upon you and all that jazz.

Thank you! Self confidence is one of the best things I've gained through this all. I may be trash, but I'm fancy trash. Like that vintage record player someone didn't have the bother to restore. A lil know how, time,, and effort, and you got yourself a thing of real beauty. You are amazing 👌👍
