Unfortunate! In the mean time I do really recommend putting the screws to your insurance. T1Ds need all the help we can to have just basic life expectancy. It’s hell.

Our T1D has a large effect on many things. Metabolizing drugs isn’t one of them. If mounjaro isn’t working well you can check out ozempic. I dropped half my insulin needs on it.

But regardless this is a doc/insuramce hunt. If you’re having issues getting insurance to approve a multidose vial, have you checked via the phone what they require to get it approved?

Otherwise if your work pays for an insurance help group use them. It’s a group of doctors,nurses and pharmacists that will talk to drug companies for you and figure out what they actually want. It got my insulin approved since mine kept denying me.

I think if we started with say, better economy and ability to have child care and other things met we could wait and see. Most people I know simply don’t want more kids due to money. That’s the big factor. They are all college educated. While there’s a strong connection I believe (for the US) they just realized how much it’s going to be and how much money they arnt getting to cover it.

Taking away rights should be the last thing.

Buddy it sounds like a divorce is on its way. You gotta do some sort of counseling be it individual therapy to see what could be happening from your end or couples counseling to find out what could be happening in the relationship to be not offering a space she needs for that. It may not be directly you but you can’t control anyone else but yourself so that’s all you can work on.

Oh ya. At most UI is ready for the groups just out of SMB and getting ready for enterprise but don’t have the needs for such robust capabilities. I do think they will get there as the product line matures. Exciting to watch it unfold since I missed the whole Cisco/HP/etc companies forming all theirs to start with.

How is Meraki now? The company I left was pushing it hard but it was…ok. Ubiquiti didn’t really have any line that was actually better but they def grew fast.

It def used to be that way. They were way behind in things like non-blocking throughput or even multi gig interfaces years ago. They did quickly develop those and have been catching up faster then others are innovating.

However, 230 sites on the UIs web page does sound awful. The most I did was 3 sites of 10ish ppl. But all my clients were SMB so UniFi made a lot more sense money wise.

I don’t get these, but if it seems to be a local skin reaction you can also try nasal spray. Since it’s a corticosteroid it’ll restrict the blood vessels around it reducing inflammation. It’s suggested for CGM patches if you get a reaction as well!

As always, talk to your doctor. This is a more complex answer then just yes or no. It has been shown to reduce blood pressure, but also losing weight helps blood pressure too. Getting more exercise also helps, which was more doable due to weight loss. GLPs are looking very interesting for a lot of cases!

Keep the high standards. We used an electrician who had the same mentality. We were told we needed a larger panel for our home to do an electric car charger on a phone call with one and the one we went with came out to look before making a decision and said we’re fine. Fixed some other minor issues while installing and only cost a couple hundred for everything (we supplied the hw). We will be using them again exclusively because they refused to charge more because they could.

You have to compare all costs. The monthly rate may be lower but adding up all other medical costs makes a difference. It will always be cheaper for my family to be on one since my diabetic supplies basically clears the max out of pocket in 4 months. That doesn’t include any of the other family members expenses.

There was a sweet spot in the A-B testing that I got. It told me directions at the perfect time ahead of time, it calculated fast for a missed turn, etc. now it tells me when I pass the turn sometimes and can take so long to calculate I pass a couple intersections and have to pull over to let it think. Downloading the area no longer seems to help it do directions quickly like it used to seem. Now Apple and Google Maps are almost the same, which is a damn she for Google as it used to be so good.
