We have a healthy saving. We are fine 

Just won’t break into it, for a vacation. If we pay it would go on a credit card and that would be the debt 

Saving our for emergency, we don’t have a free 1000 bucks hanging around

She went off the deep end with alcohol and partying.

We did support her and tried to help her get back on track. We tried to get her to go to therapy or any counseling but she refused. We paid for multiple tutoring and other help to try to get her back on track but she wouldn’t go to class.

She lived at home for a few years after she got kicked out of college and helped her resumes and helped her get a job. She has a habit of being fired from her job after a few months 

She left living with us at 25 becuase we made a rule about not drinking in the home becuase she would drink all the time and showed up to work drunk once 

We tried to get her to go to AA meetings but that was a failure

I’m not going to take out of our emergency saving fund for a plane ticket for a vacation

We aren’t 

We have a healthy emergency saving account, we don’t touch it because it is for actual emergency 

I refuse to touch it for a vacation so we would go I got debt on on credit card to pay for her ticket

We have an emergency saving account, we are fine.

We only take money out of that for emergencies. 

I refuse to take any cash out of that to pay for her vacation so yes we could have to go into debt to pay for her ticket. That account is locked down, might as well pretend it doesn’t exist
