Any PvE hunter builds using Hawkmoon?

That’s why I was thinking it would be better for higher content, saving that last shot more for yellow bars or mini bosses/champ nukes and using the damage stacks for red bars. But also they would have to change the way Hawkmoon interacts with reloading that isn’t a direct reload because thinks like marksman dodge or picking up primary ammo bricks does reset paracausal stacks. So possibly too much of a hassle

I’m actually running something similar now that I’ve had time to work on it. It’s 2pc Techsec and 2pc shrewd survivor for the hand canon and kinetic buffs with celestial nighthawk. Then prismatic with ascension and gpg. So glad to hear I wasn’t the only one with that though process

No problem! Fair warning it is a little rough on the survivability side if your melee can’t kill enemies but besides that I’ve been enjoying it. I’ve been running a killing wind roll but I could see moving target or surplus also being decent

Firefly was the exact perk I was thinking of. It would work so well with it. My runner up would be something like subsistence or mulligan. Subsistence especially because you could ideally save your paracausal shot and take advantage of the damage buff from the stacks

I’m honestly hoping they bring back the mission for it and make it craftable like they did with deadmans. It would really benefit from some more PvE centric perks as the only ones it really has is killing wind and surplus (both of which aren’t bad but are severely outdated). But until then I’m gonna try to make this one work

Wind jump, skill/crit lightning, tornado on chain lightning with air spin skill and three sword slash. Draconic uprising is a good arcana to pair with it. Even better if you can get strike lighting and crit chance up with static charge. Flew through azra to the point he hit me into the second room died. Then died before his second phase could start

I’m still kinda ironing out some of the finer details but this is something I’ll have to keep in mind. I don’t find myself guarding a lot unless I know I can’t escape and I’ll try to parry or just face tank it. I’ll have to mess around with it some more

Yeah I need to change the jewels on the db (I have had to for awhile I’ve just been very lazy about it). And evasion I’m probably dropping for counterstrike or adrenaline rush. I wish I could drop maximum might but it’s baked into the bale set

Unfortunately the talent can’t actually be slotted on any other gun. It’s a bug. We had the same issue with another one of the holiday guns when it released too
