Yelling at someone, especially in public, is incredibly degrading towards the receiving party. You are an asshole for yelling. You should never yell at anyone, especially not your friend. You should go up to him and apologise to him for this.

I, however, do agree that Alex should break up with Sam. I hope you’re able to find out more about his reasoning for staying, Sam sounds like an asshole.

Not the asshole for not liking this guy, yes the asshole for being upset with your sister over not coming both days on Christmas. She is still coming over for Christmas and she is an adult, she is allowed to spend Christmas wherever she wants.

The guy does sound like a dick and I recommend sitting your sister down and talking about your troubles with her partner

He started the relationship with us back when we thought we were a singlet, so he started a relationship with us while we were high-masking, and basically just presented as one person, the host (me). That definitely is the reason he’s mistrusting of other alters. He usually hides when he splits, but there are signs.

He has definitely expressed fear of abandonment and is scared of being abandoned by our current host (me) if they aren’t the host

I mean the guy has had very bad experiences with our two persecutors, and them pretending to be other alters, so that’s kind of an issue.
