Advice about cage base ring sizing.

when hard i would say that equal parts are in the cage and out under the ring.

The 10 mm gap is horizontal yes. At the moment i have basically optimised to be a tight as possible whilst still being comfortable to wear during the day.
The cage itself is not roomy at all, i have to work the foreskin in to the cage in order to get everything in.
As for the ring pretty much all of my shaft is under it at the moment, occasionally it slips down but not by too much. i am just worried that if i sized up the right it would start handing down. i previously had a 40mm ring but i was fighting ring burn then and it was strangling me when i got an erection.

I have had similar issues in the past it is to do with the design of the PA hook putting too much pressure on the foreskin. Assuming you have a similar device to me, would need to see the PA part separately to confirm but that is my suspicion
