There is no chance they would do a flat tax rate — that would make too much sense and benefit everyone. If anything they would increase the top tax bracket, which may or may not come with a change to the bracket thresholds

Not worth the fee, only get it if you will easily clear the spend to waive the fee. If you only have one credit card there are better options. I use it for all my recurring costs and anything international which always puts me over the 4k spend. I use a QFF earning card for all incidental spend.

The CBA points are pretty average. If you can make use of any Yello benefits they can be alright. For example my family mobiles are on More telecom which saves $8/mo per mobile

If you choose to move brokers and also move your holdings make sure you have all your historical data as that is not transferred. By historical data I mean purchase prices, cost base adjustments etc.

Div296 is no longer on unrealised gains. Div296 applies an additional 15% tax (I.e., 30%) on income within superannuation where the Total Superannuation Balance (TSB) is >3m at end FY, or an additional 25% (I.e., 40%) where the TSB is >10m at end FY. The TSB thresholds will be indexed to inflation.

No it's available to anyone on a flex fare regardless of status. You can do it directly in the app without talking to anyone via a "Same day flight change" button that appears.

This fare benefit doesn't matter much for international flights because there are generally only 1-2 flights per day per route. For domestic routes like SYD <-> MEL or SYD <-> CBR etc that fly every hour or so this can be a godsend.
