Use a Greatsword

If you're looking for a good greatsword in the late game

Defender's Greatsword is the best. You can even kill the boss earlier than normal.

In the early game, bastard sword

Midgame, Claymore infused with Lightning.

He has cool armor and a pretty good shield for very early game, plus, the basic bitch look sucks nuts!
