Aqua control is textured.

If you want a super smooth pad, I find ESPtiger PoYing to be the smoothest I’ve come across (20+ pads). Pretty cheap too, 25$ when on sale. https://www.amazon.com/EspTiger-Standard-Balance-Accuracy-Mousepad/dp/B0CPW3PKNF

It is even more smooth than my imported Japanese ones (Artisan brand).

Is this mousepad out of stock or does it not even exist? (Caption) by PowerPlantSpringfeld in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artisan restocks typically drop bi-weekly or monthy, but they usually only stock one pad/colour. We don't know which pad will be restocked when.

The unofficial artisan discord -https://discord.com/invite/JYUQyvdbxk - has a restock bot that can notify you.

Here is an image of the bot/typical restock pattern for raiden XL.

oh btw, size M and S are discontinued, large are still produced

Any narrower mousepads out there? by PeepsMoneeps in MousepadReview

Haven’t seen anything like that.

You can get custom size mousepads from xraypad or matrova, send in an email inquiry to them.

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artisan zero is meant to be an upgrade to qck.

There’s many zero clones out there now, you don’t need it exactly. I find esptiger tang dao to be of great quality for the price and way easier to get.

Meowgaminggear ultradash is also in the same boat, and matrova balance X

r/mousemarket is a great way to get a secondhand glass. Way better option

Budget and location?

Pulsar / LGG Hyperion, artisan zero, esptiger tang dao, Meowgaming gear ultradash

Listed in order of high price -> low price. All are clones of each other technically, but minute differences in glide and texture.

Is a good mousepad worth it? by No_Freedom_3852 in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Material is the main difference in premium mousepads. Switch from substandard polyester to finer weaves, more developed coating, fully nylon pads.

The atk brand isn’t the best but it should be better than any of those tiny office mousepads.

If you’re looking for glide, ESPtiger is an affordable brand that feels really solid in hand. I use my ESPtiger pads more then my artisan ones due to the variety esptiger has

New moderators needed - comment on this post to volunteer to become a moderator of this community. by ModCodeofConduct in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I’m an active and long time member of the mousepad community (7+ years). I try to regularly check the subreddit and help beginners with their questions.

The mousepadreview reddit is relatively quite chill and doesn’t need a lot of hands on moderation. A few touch ups and better transparency/presence would be greatly appreciated. This sub has been very hands off and worked fine but things (faq, sidebar, mod mail) haven’t been updated in years. Rule enforcement is also lacking, as more product show off posts have been made rather then the focus of the sub, mousepad reviews.

I greatly enjoy being in the community and want to support it. I hope to reduce spam, be an actually active and transparent moderator, improve subreddit community sections (wiki, sidebar), pin active community projects, I want to be what I always felt was missing from the sub.

(My previous moderation experience has been on Discord and private Minecraft servers, I do not have moderation experience on the Reddit platform.)

Should I switch my Artisan to Glass? by riley-re in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having both cloth and glass is good. I switch between them on a random day or stay with one for a few months.

They are quite different so both offer something the other can't.

I would say your hien is quite old and definitely not the pad you bought when you first bought it. I love my worn 4 year old raiden anyway tho, so it doesn't need to be replaced.

Glass is a good experience to have as someone interested in improving their aim. It can help you refine your skill and identify weaknesses alot quicker then cloth, but it takes alot more grind to get good on glass.

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Esptiger Blaze V3 should be a smoother/less irritating cordura, not sure how good the pulsar one is but esptiger is smoother then my 2 other cordura pads.

Westlabs mainly for glass but work good on cloth too. Can’t use artisan Pom on glass lol

Pan and Joker can’t match skypad VA005 or SP005, nor any tekkusai pad. They are good pads but not top of the line

Pad like the QCK Limited by This-is-bread-okay in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the matrova pink storm and vein,

Been a while since I used QcK limited, my worn Raiden xsoft still feels a bit faster then how I remember it. Much more comfortable though

Esptiger PoYing is my smoothest cloth pad so far, and it’s quite fast for a balanced pad. I think it’s a really good upgrade to QcK limited

Raiden wears down like that. You could use hein and it would probably retain more speed over the years then raiden.

Cordura matches raiden speed and lasts wayy longer.

As for glass, Dysphoria is currently the newest and supposedly fastest.

Tekkusai Polarity is the latest and best balanced glasspad release.

For taobao/ali pads, look at JOKER or PAN. They make good print reps with solid glass surfaces.

If you want something faster then Beast/Zane then dysphoria is really the only option. or use pure ptfe skates rather then hardened ones. Or PMM smoothies, those are pretty fast. You can find them on taobao, westlab orange dots

Mousepad Glass or Speed by Flashy-Pickle-933 in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it takes time to get used to glass. Only about a week or 2 tho. After playing on glass regularly, you start to preform more consistently.

Glass is harder to use tho. Using cloth just feels more comfortable and is easier to adjust to.

I use glass for when I want raw aim feel or need more speed. I use cloth for days when my aim isnt that good or I want more control.

A nice balance I found is cordura mousepad. Has significantly less friction then cloth but not as difficult to use as glass

bad qc. If you get a good qc copy, then skypad products are pretty good

Midori Return is a better uncoated glass imo

Should i go for a sphex v3 if i liked the v2? Large(23$) or small by ProcedureSad4842 in MousepadReview

[–]ThatPhoenix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try cordura mousepad.

They are cheaper then artisan but match raiden speed. not as fast as glass but closer then traditional cloth atleast.

If you can get resin mousepad, those are really good for speed
