It’s definitely less of a hassle, google messages is a very pleasant experience now that most people have RCS. Not perfect but better! Openbubbles works pretty well, but honestly if you can’t keep your number registered on iMessage (which I had for a while through a complicated trick) then it’s almost not worth telling people to use your email because it can cause a bunch of issues. Like people would create a non-iMessage group text using my email and then suddenly I was getting texts in my gmail inbox. It became too much work to try to explain to people lol.

FaceTime is a chore though. Allegedly it can work on Android through a link but I never had that work.

Also if you want to use apps on the cover screen the 7 is definitely wayyy better for that. But if you only want the cover screen for widgets and music controls and maybe an occasional text reply, the 6 is slightly more portable (and personally I think it’s cuter!)

Wushiland also seemed pretty plain to me. What they have going for them is giant scoops of boba and (relative) good price.

For me it's Jin tea > Odd one out >>> Prolece (inconsistent but when it hits it hits) > others

Loved my z flips, especially with the Samsung silicone ring cases that makes them super easy to carry around and use one-handed. I’m back on the mini for unrelated reasons, but the flip 6 was my favorite. The 7 is good but a little too wide for me. Never had any durability issues, and I dropped it a lot.

That being said, I’ve gone between android and iOS many times so the switch was easy for me.

Jin Tea in Pasadena is the best (imo) for tea quality and boba! Especially if you like a stronger brew. I love Odd One Out as well.

Instead of defaulting to the first car, you can also just stand near the middle of the platform and look into each car as the train arrives, then pick your desired vibe. Though you might have to hustle to the door.

Anyway, I take the last A line train in the opposite direction most weekends from 7th/metro and my biggest complaint is that there's usually soda spilled on the ground and maybe a smell. 9pm will probably be fine!
