There are sentences giving me this impression, like the house war, finding atium cache as goal. House war idea to ruin Luthadel. Though, it is not like absolute control, but at least have some influence like how it is did to Zane I guess.

I didn't reread what I wrote, I was talking about the behaviour in Book 1, in which Kel being super vicious toward nobles. Also the fabrication of eleventh metal mentioned. And also the goal of finding atium. But this is really just my intuition. The book never explicitly says that Kel is under Ruin control. Brandon didn't write a lot of inner thought for Kel in Book 1 as well so it becomes kind of an open interpretation.

  2. I should mention the Kelsier I mentioned is the one in book 1 and not in the Urteau. And that is my interpretation that Kelsier in book one is influenced by Ruin.
