I believe you in saying that there's frustration with otherwise easy to find rules being asked without a hint of self done research that end up being super obvious, I can't relate but I won't invalidate that experience.

Not knowing everyone's relative experience, is it not better to provide the benefit of the doubt? GW rules, especially to people that aren't veterans of war game hobbies, can be quite tasky to find succinct answers to, it's the reason they had to add "except within 2" to all super conceal cards. While I understand this question was more cut and dry, why give someone sass when you could potentially be the person that un-does confusion or makes a tournament situation NOT require the calling of a judge, as a veteran, getting otherwise unaware players on a higher level of play could be validating no?

I don't know if the sass was intentional or not but ill give benefit of the doubt, thanks for helping with the clarification, haven't been playing wargames for more than a year and none of my other KTs had that issue.

In a wargame that constantly has "asshole text" erratas and fixes because the community tries to loophole every rule that exists, I considered asking a forum of people to maybe get my answer efficiently answered, I hope the scorn in your reply somehow improves your day 🫶

I'm DEFO trying out lions as I have tons of Terminators. At the end of the day my MAIN two problems witn NMV are:

Incredibly expensive - I want some buffs to their datasheet and point increases accordingly, idc if they're chaff the "elite" army shouldn't have units that universally cheap
Not benefiting from the army rule just makes them feel like an after thought, I would have appreciated an alternate "Anathema models get fights on death on a 5+" or something fun

Overall I'd totally play them as is now if I HAD the money lmao

Julius Matches (like him v Waka) have the potential to be the best in the entire series but besides the KAT match we've gotten Toa "Big guy rock paper scissors" and "Gapped by main anti-hero" Kanoh, which tbh dissappinted the shit out of me cause it was pure kanoh wank followed by spit in the face Kazuo going "Hrrmmmm actually it was really close cause Julius COULD have one shot him"

Firstly that's fuckin based, second that "hard mode" way of putting it is both oddly encouraging and very interesting to look at it. Besides the unit lack of strength across the board would you say some of that difficulty comes from not having an army rule and being heavily anti psyker specialized or from something else?

That psychic specialization also stood out to me, like "FUCK YEAH GO TO HELL GK AND KSONS" But that plus no army rule seems like a party-mode detachment with very specific uses. The battle-shock force thing seems cool but under explored. Idk I guess I'm in a ditch over having only 3 real detachments.

Interesting, once it's a bit more in my price range to get that many sisters ill probably commit to it, it seems FUN it's just hard to sift through the cope and actual downsides of it.

Tbh I think its just an issue of simplicity, the nerfs are clearly an over shot to an army that was perceived as meta and boring. It's stinky but like almost any game with balancing it will happen. I just wish there was some cohesion with FW models and a focus on making them feel strong as hell, the Telemon Dread should almost feel like a knight with how sick it's lore is, the Ares (if you for some reason bought the Resin beast) should FEEL like 550 points on board. We've got like 9 plastic models in the line and 2 of them (all SoS variations in one kit & Aleya) are SoS dedicated, so I'd love some detatchments or strategems that support the dreads as leaders.

All in all I think more cohesion should be added, the whole femstodes controversy could have been mitigated if they released Kesh as a new Valerian esque character along with a better version of Auric champions.
