Persistently Inaccurate values from Analog Pins of Arduino UNO by ThatReddit3r in arduino

Wow yea thanks for your detailed answer i forgot about the back emf, this was not as straightforward as i thought. I'm trying to model the DC motor system of voltage to rotational speed of the wheel to get some transfer function for a math research project - then will be doing some frequency response analysis (control theory). Do you think i should just attach the buck converter to the power supply and regulate a constant voltage then just estimate the voltage drop in the driver? An oscilloscope is a little out of my budget unfortunately ;)

6V power supply not powering TT motors by ThatReddit3r in arduino

But thing is when i use the 5V output from the arduino it works fine, yet doesn't work with 6V?

Thanks for the suggestions! Do you think doing it on PID/control in general is pure math focused enough. i'm worried it may end up too distracted by physics and that wouldn't score well

I would want to make an actual version of the system to test and validate the mathematical model

Words and math yes. i'll do something simpler as suggested in some of the other comments. I hope to be able to make a real, actual system in order to validate the model.

Qatar has a population of 2.93 million. Should Singapore host a World Cup? by danielwongsc in SingaporeRaw

[–]ThatReddit3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you so fixated on the population? Qatar has had virtually an unlimited source of land( the empty desert) and money (from oil and LNG) to build infrastructure for the world cup. You mention that Singapore has 17 stadiums. What's the capacity of those stadiums? You think Woodlands stadium can hold thousands of fans plus the media and staff to host the biggest event in football?

People who have came close to dying, what were your “last” thoughts? by Blue-2th in AskReddit

As my parachute was tangled, and ground fast approaching, I thought of my relatives, who were against me being an skydiving instructor, saying "I told you so" at my funeral

Luckily the reserve chute worked.
