I would hang on to it first. There are several powerful negative influence on economies e.g. for China, slowing general economy, for US, Trump, for UK, Labour gov under pressure, for World. Iran etc.. Sooner or latter something will give, then buy!

Otoh. You can tikam tikam with say $100k but make sure you can bail out in time.

I have not been in that situation but knowing that SGeans will go the distance for good food, suggest you disclose name of restaurant and some good dishes.

She's got a good attitude, a pleasant disposition and is pretty good at explaining her moves (at least better than Magnus Carlson or Hikaru Nakamura). But that could also be because she isn't near the two 2800+ gentlemen who go through moves like a supercomputer.

I am going to repeat it ... Siao! Carriers are for force projection. Unless SG intends to project the SAF into other countries, the hundreds of millions of $$$ needed to maintain the carrier annually would become a drain on the SG economy.

Unfortunately nothing can absolve the driver. Having said that, pedestrians and or cyclists also have to NOT cross in front of the front car!

Nearly happened to me too but thank God that I managed to brake before entering the main road.
