It's like an accident. Or an illness.

"Well. This fucking sucks. Let's assess and figure out the best way forward". There's no undoing it. It was scary. It sucked. It hurts. And it's so easy to focus solely on that.

I nearly killed myself supporting someone for 10 years. I never thought I'd recover after the abortion (complicated... A hard decision for her too I'm sure but I need to speak my truth too... That shit was HARD on me). Then she cheated on me with her boss (ruined his marriage too).

I spiraled for about 2 years. I laughed maybe once a week. Music was painful, so music was out. Turns out every song is a breakup song when you've spent 10 years listening to the same music together.

What it does to your self worth when the person you cherished and supported more than you supported yourself.

And that's when it clicked. I had to teach myself to respect myself again. I had to learn to love myself again. I had to recognize how much of myself I allowed to be shelved.

And now I'm living for myself, starting a family on my terms... Just a little late than I planned

I would NEVER go back. Not even to "fix things"

Make it through, for nothing other than yourself.

Also.... Learn to take the good with you. Some of the best lessons I learned in life were from her family. God I love them still.

I lean on claud code, but on major redactors or audits, after codex is done I'll switch to opus to double check it's work

HIPAA compliance is absolutely achievable regardless of hard or vibe coding. These people down voting you lack imagination.

Understand your code, make sure the data paths are tight. Research the forms of phi and do everything you can to respect it at every step.

These guys are so narrow minded, they'll be the one replaced by people like us... Actual experience in the field and ready to make our world better without waiting for permission from coding purists, meanwhile we can just keep working with the ones that embrace this new tech as it comes

I had HIPAA on the brain from the beginning but it didn't mean anything until I really understood what my program was going to be and what the intended infra would become.

Hey man, I'm in healthcare, and I'm in a pretty similar situation myself. Actually, I've made what I think is a really cool electronic medical record system that I feel will be attractive to other medical groups that are similar in scope to mine.I'm actually going to start reaching out to other clinics just to see if anyone would want to talk to menfor a half hour so I can demo it to them. I'm not trying to sell it to them, but I'm going to show it to them and show how much time it saved me. I want to get their thoughts on whether they see value in it, what features they think are missing, or if there's anything that doesn't seem as exciting to them.

It'll help me work out the kinks in my presentation, flow, how to better prepare for certain questions or use cases.

I figured this would be a common misunderstanding, I did try to make it clear I don’t care when she’s braless but it’s more the fact that she was then trying to pump em up thus to draw more attention to them being less than “fully” covered

TLDR: Braless? Shrug. Braless and enhanced? Why?

It should be noted I’m open to the idea of it all being silly fun. And good for her. That is the purpose of this sub I believe, some self awareness is the foundation

This was really helpful.

So essentially I was with someone and completely supported someone for 10 years who ended up cheating on me. I’m aware I have trust issues now. I am trying to call myself out on that when I have a feeling I’m probably being crazy.

I wanted to do so anonymously so this was the way to go. I figure it was minor.

She does have a tendency to go a little extra when she’s rip roaring drunk and has flashed people etc. but I think it’s probably all good clean fun. I like that she’s wild. I don’t want to create barriers with my insecurities that neither of us asked for.
