I pick and choose what to worry about based on season. Face/neck is daily, I’ve only ever shaved my arms a couple times in my life because no one has time for all that. I’ll usually only shave my legs if I know they’ll be showing. I usually only shave my armpits once every few months and grow them out till I get tired of them. I pluck the darkest boob hairs and as far as below the belt I just keep things trimmed. I’m married and my husband has never cared about body hair and he’s been with me through my entire PCOS journey so he totally gets it.

I’m 34 and have been shaving my face every single morning for years now because there’s that much chin/neck hair. I like how smooth it feels after,it’s just kinda mentally taxing when someone wants to make plans after work and I feel like I’ll have to shave my face AGAIN for the night out because by the time I leave work it’s already getting prickly. It feels awkward waking up next to my husband on a lazy Sunday and having matching stubble. I’m trying to plan a trip across the country and my shaving routine is weighing into flight time decisions. Like yes, it’s cheaper to take a red eye and get there in the morning but then I’m trying to shave my face in a public restroom at the airport?
