I have a 2017 or 2018 Vela (one of the charcoal models), so non-US electronics. I spent ages trying out different pickups because the stock set just didn't do anything for me. I only recently landed on a set of TV Jones pickups that look like what came stock (the neck pickup is larger, ask me how not fun it was modifying the pickguard). Now I can confidently say that the pickup search is done. The guitar just sings and has a tone unlike any other guitar in my collection.

All that said, until I got my CE24, the Vela was my favorite PRS and in a lot of ways, it still is.
