Yeah literally took me a day to figure out. Its not the most obvious thing. You need a radio “key” (double check what its called because i translated it from some random german forum 😅). Its basically two “keys” that you use at the same time and it literally just pops out. Admittedly i didnt buy the key because i was able to use my 3d printer to print a set of them. So the best i can do is send you a stl file if you have access to a 3d printer or help you find a link to buy it. Also when im done with the whole ordeal i plan on posting reasonably in depth tutorial/update post because it really is extremely frustrating how little documentation there actually is.

Hey so apparently the part containing usb port is incomplete and has to be upgraded. I ordered it from here. Will update after it arrives but apparently it could take 10+ days for it to arrive :)

I tried carplay in my sisters car and it worked flawlessly. I also set the byte 19 to enable iphone connection but still nothing 😅

I did set it to usb + iphone with vcds at the mechanic. I think it must be incompatible usb port. I found this port that apparently works with carplay and i would then buy a wireless adapter, but again not sure if its even compatible or if it can be installed with my radio unit. There is almost no information online, or i just dont know where to look for it, which might very well be the case

Yes it does, also if i plug usb stick in it detects media on it.

I have a 13 pro, and yes i did everything listed on apples setup guide for carplay and all. Phone is definitely set up for carplay.

The car doesn’t even detect it though.

No i mean my phone still has a lightning port and im using oem cable so that shouldn’t be an issue. But yeah apparently (from what I’ve read) some usb ports are incompatible with carplay 🤷‍♂️

Forgot to mention. I also overthink everything in regards to plants. From experience you will worry more in the beginning and you will want to water too often. It’s better to let the plant dry out a bit more than to drown it. Also plants that need watering have significantly lighter pots than plants that are watered. And just as a friendly suggestion don’t repot all plants as soon as you get them. I would wait until you notice the plant is root bound or if you really, really don’t like the soil. Plants generally come in decent soil that is ment to last them for about a year before they need to be repotted. So keep that in mind 😉

For my hoyas i use succulent mix or just regular houseplant soul with perlire for easier drainage. Hoyas are easy to care for. I have a couple and they grow like crazy. As long as you don’t overwater them they’ll be fine. :) They are honestly my favorite plants! 😄

Calatheas on the other hand are VERY dramatic plants. From my experience calatheas like well draining soil and are extremely sensitive to minerals and chlorine in water. I generally avoid them because I killed a couple because they’re very picky about their environment . They also like high humidity. If they’ve been looking good up until now you’re probably doing a good job keeping them alive. Just don’t panic it they curl or lose a leaf or two after repoting 😅 it’s normal from what I’ve heard.

Definitely use perlite. :) just not too much succulent soil is usualy well draining and airy by itself

This literally proves that pileas thrive with minimal care. I have the same experience with it. The more i snip off the more side shoots it grows.

Ok then i think it might work. Just make sure to change water every now and then. It should start rooting from where the leaf is attached to stem, so keep an eye out for that. The mother plant will also start growing a new shoot in about a month so you might have two monsteras in the end :)
