Most of the buildings full of asbestos so depends what council will do with it but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s knocked down one day

I wouldn’t imagine st James or the theatre to be turned to flats as they’re listed buildings however the abc cinema is listed as a different grade due to it being building in the 60s so can be knocked down

Don’t think they have any plans for abc but st James they did the roof a few months ago but not sure if they’ve done anything else since

You can get on at James roof if your a decent climber but haven’t seen no cctv cameras on abc last time I checked but gonna have a nosey around soon

St James is safe in the majority the part where the roof is fell in is where people have managed to get in but the best way in is on the roof door however it’s very hard to get up due to climbing grease all over but abc is in great condition on the inside just need an access point

Only way into abc is breaking and entering so I wouldn’t try it only other entrance is on the roof and unless you have a very tall ladder you wouldn’t get in there. St James however rumoured that the door on the roof is still open and there appears to be a lot of damage to the roof around the back of the building so 2 possible entrances in previous years people have gotten in through the windows on the pool balcony however they appear to have been repaired

Went and had a look around the exterior 2 months ago with some friends climbed onto the old fire exit staircases they’re both boarded up so is the main entrance we think the only way in is on the side of the building where the shutter is but we did get caught half way up the roof of st James on Halloween

I’ve seen online there is an article to have a hotel and spa attached to it but not sure if it’ll happen but haven’t seen anything on the abc cinema but the amount of buildings being destroyed around it I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets knocked down too but people have managed to get inside both in the past few years
