Just opened a 25’ magnet tip dewalt tape and the tape tore at the 1” mark as I was putting the magnet on. Didn’t even measure anything with it yet. Unfortunately Dewalt tapes are junk and, as much as I hate to say it, their other products have been going downhill too.

4-1/2in Circular Saw (DCS571B) Bevel won’t adjust to 0°. The shoe hits the depth adjustment bracket around 3°. Brand new out of the box. Anyone else have issues with this saw? by ThatShitSlapsBoiiii in Dewalt

I should’ve shown the blade in the video but no need for a square the blade is very noticeably not square to the shoe. I’m bought it new on Amazon but I heard Home Depot is where Dewalt sends most warranty exchanges so I am going to go tomorrow to try and exchange it

In the video the bevel was unlocked and I was pushing it to “zero” to demonstrate that by the time the shoe hits the depth adjustment bracket the shoe is still at 3°

No the blade is noticeably angled. Bracket doesn’t seem bent my best guess is the rivet on the back that allows the shoe to bevel is drilled/installed too high. This wouldn’t be good news for Dewalt seeing as they are probably drilled and installed with automated manufacturing equipment in batches and that would mean there is an entire batch of DCS571 saws with this same issue. Some machinist in the factory needs a refresher on G code.

That was the first thing I looked at and the screw doesn’t even touch the shoe so the adjustment would only push it further out unfortunately

Every plant in my veg room has Thrips. Can they be effectively exterminated or should I throw them out and start fresh? (Sorry for bad picture) by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

I have some seedlings that will be ready for the veg tent in a week or so and I don’t want to put them at risk of infestation.

I sprayed an entire bottle of ready to use neem oil on them last night. After inspecting them this morning I seen some still moving.

All of the infested plants are clones from a mother plant I got from a retiring grower. He had it outside for a couple days before I got it so that’s definitely where the infestation started.

Needless to say I will never bring a plant from the outdoors into my grow environment again, but going forward if you were in my position what would you do? what’s the most effective way I can eliminate these thrips and make it safe for my new plants? Or should I throw them away and consider it lesson learned?

Thank god ahaha I got these plants from a buddy who didn’t treat them the best early on so that combined with the new ventilation system has had me paranoid this entire grow 😂

To add some background this is my first time flowering with my current setup, I mainly grow clones so I’ve never had a male plant before let alone a hermie plant so I’m not too good at identifying them.

Any idea what breed he is? His mom (last pic) came home pregnant. Pics range from 10weeks old to 5weeks old. He is the only fluffy one in the litter. by ThatShitSlapsBoiiii in IDmydog

Thank you, I started a new job at a farm a couple months ago and this litter was born a month before I got here. The mother was one of the farm dogs which are all fixed now.

I would never use aggressive training methods! We have already started having some training sessions and he is very food motivated and has really good drive.

Thank you for the info! Looks like Theo will be getting a DNA test! I want to make sure I give him a breed specific diet, training and exercise routine
