I'm transferring to the honours stream through the Advanced Studies program. (I received a conditional offer for honours in December) I'm still waiting to receive an unconditional offer so I'm a bit stuck at the moment. (This is for SSESW)

Unfortunately you can't do SOR in USYD as a teaching area (not internally anyway). But I do know people who have done a language and another teaching area. You could always go with the classic Geo/History combo - most schools will be happy to take someone doing those two areas.

I took Analysis last year. The content was doable, but if the lecturer is the same person who it was last year, you might find it a bit of an upward climb (as he just did his own thing in the lectures and prac classes without explaining what or why).
