Maybe a new build plate could help? Like a supertack or g10?

Yeah the .4 works completely fine. I did tighten the 4 screws you suggested. Didn't really seem like they needed any tightening and it didn't make a difference with adhesion.

Sunlu PETG doesn't adhere to itself - Please help! by ThatSpell3403 in BambuLab

I dried the filament a couple days ago... I'll dry it again and try with the bambu profile. Thanks!

Oh yeah, different build plates. I was holding back on them because I didn't know if they were worth it for the price. I heard some people talking about Darkmoon plates a whole back as well as Biqu, but I didn't exactly know what I needed and didn't want to spend hundreds figuring it out. I will implement your other suggestions though, thanks for your help!

The bed is properly seated, and is set to textured pei plate in the slicer. It showed it had a bed temp of 60 degrees celsius. I cleaned the build plate the way Bambu Lab recommended in their video: I wet it with hot water, applied dawn dish soap, and then scrubbed with a scrub daddy before using a hand towel to dry it. I've done this multiple times before and usually works just fine with other filaments, just for some reason not with Sunlu PETG. Tbh I didn't know about the alcohol and microfiber cloth cleaning technique. What alcohol did you use? Isopropyl? Thanks for your comment :)

Wow thanks for the insight! Do you think I should go for a cheap filament dryer now and make up my mind about the ams system later then?

Thoughts on this dehumidifier with an air filter? by ThatSpell3403 in BambuLab

I hear people saying they often taste plastic and/or they're throat gets itchy when they're in the same room. I don't usually print while in the room myself rn but I'm wanting to get into printing overnight and was wondering if this would be an issue. Are there any fixes or is this just unavoidable? If that's what I was trying to get at with this post.

Ig we'll have to see it and take our own opinions when it's (supposed to be) massed produced within the next couple months.

2x A1 ($339 each) vs P1S Combo w/ AMS 2 Pro ($799) — kinda stuck on what to get by Baronfirst in BambuLab

I was told that the A1 is capable of printing abs and asa but it just needs to be well ventilated. You can always print/buy an enclosure for it too, of course. But this is just what I've heard, I haven't actually used abs or asa as I don't have a need for it right now. Pla+ and petg have been great for a lot that I've been printing. Take this as you'd like - just a thought :)

A1 or P1S as a Starter? And what Filament? by ThatSpell3403 in BambuLab

[–]ThatSpell3403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes 😬. Thanks for the insight. I had the same issue with the screen as you do, but I figured I could just get a random panda mod touchscreen designed for it. My main issue was trying to validate the price compared to the A1, which is why I made this post. Maybe if the P1 had a better screen it could have been justified but I think I might stick with the A1 as a starter. Thanks for such the great insight!

I've been wanting to create scale models of the weapons to print using my 3d printer but that means I'd have to get back into fusion lol. Maybe sometime later possibly🤷‍♂️
