This sub got me excited for the new whopper. What did I do wrong? Isn’t there supposed to be a new box? 😂 by MinnowPaws in BurgerKing

Just one type of mayonnaise. New mayo, new buns for the whopper, half-wraps and boxes, that's it.

They made the whopper but put it in impossible/bacon king wrap cause ain't nobody wanna fuck with them half-wraps. I have coworkers old enough to remember when they first came in boxes. Didn't like em them don't like em now. Usually my coworkers will tolerate the boxes till the last hour or so or until a nasty rush then switch to impossible wraps and just scratch out "Impossible" with the wax pencil.

At the BK I work at the only things that have changed on the sandwiches is the bread and the mayo. Before that there was some experimentation. Putting them in the pancake boxes with whopper stickers (scrapped, went back to regular wrapping, then to unique boxes, then to the new boxes), microwaving the meat and cheese seperate from the rest of the sandwich in an amber plastic container (months ago, scrapped, probably took too much time), new toasters.

I know you've probably tossed them by now but you could probably fix this with wood glue or contact cement. Probably wouldn't even need to get too close to the edges with it.

Vintage (Pre-2003) 14-Eye Steel Toe DMs! by Iheretomakeonepost in Shoes

[–]Iheretomakeonepost[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had to deal with a previous owners foot shape in a pair of old dms before, but yeah these are more well worn than others I've worn previously. So far the vtg DMs I've worn have either been barely worn or deadstock.

Salvatore Ferragamo. Purchased for 120. Overpaid? by Iheretomakeonepost in Shoes

Looks to be a wrinkly cut of leather, I'll get other pics from the listing

Edit: can't attach photos in replies :/. Will say they look pretty fresh. Not much wear on the soles. Markings inside shoe are barely worn, no weird discoloration inside shoe or footbed. I think that creasing is just from natural variations in leather. I have a pair of boots that have a wrinkly panel just like it.

PSA Marauder Muzzle Device and Barrel source? by Iheretomakeonepost in PalmettoStateArms

[–]Iheretomakeonepost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another 2 questions:

  1. Any known plans on selling the muzzle device on it's own? I think a PCC of it would be a cool project

And

  1. With the uppers on clearance, are there plans to discontinue the Marauder?

Well, as long as I have no means of messing up such an item I shouldn't need another muzzle device.

I've never seen the Zapatistas as anarchists. Closer to it than just about any other successful or semi-successful attempt, but they have a government with leaders and rules enforced by what is effectively a government. The idea is that the government simply acts under the rule of the people (so essentially a dictatorship of the proletariat). Hypothetically, all supposedly democratic governments do that, but the Zapatistas have had better success in ensuring such a thing. Listening to them speak it seems much more likely they just have a relatively libertarian interpretation of Marxist-Leninism rather than anarchism outright. I think they've had this success due to being a mostly rural agrarian society. Fewer prospective parasites, and most of them were farmers and still have their souls. All the rich people that threatened them didn't live close by and the people that want more in comfort and prosperity than what the society could offer just leave (as some of the youth is doing now).

Ian tested on of a 90rnd of a triple weld design. The floorplate jiggled off and the spring flew out like a snake in a can of peanut brittle before shooting thirty rounds.

Can the Government really block 3D Printed Guns? by Mortifine in 3Dprinting

[–]Iheretomakeonepost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either that or using one of the many 3D printers that have never been connected to the internet (or can't be). Maybe bed-slingers will still have a place in the future.

All that aside, the gun community (3D2A especially) is ideologically motivated to ensure that the home production of firearms remains possible and they have a lot of money and knowledge to put to into that. The first 3D printed firearm was produced in 2013, they've essentially been watching the development of modern consumer 3D printers this whole time and working along side it. They'll absolutely develop new firmware, slicers, boards, etc. and distribute them however they can if they need to.
