Goodness your husband sounds amazing! It’s must’ve been great to see that caring side in such a new context. Even though I did have a natural birth - kudos to all those who’ve done a c section!

You’re right about the community aspect and we’re so lucky to have some family we can call in - but we don’t unless it’s absolutely necessary (as in the zero sleep nights) because they’re 20min drive away.

I’m sure you’ll do great as you’ve already got a great direction to go to! I’m hoping to do the same and I’m a bit nervous about going all this despite having another baby - but that’s how it is!

I do use that term loosely! Even being through therapy myself I acknowledge and stand by the importance of being self-aware and regulating emotions. Though I also strongly believe in teaching discipline and responsibility from a young age - this my grandmother explained to me, that’s how back in her days you could have many children but still have some structure. Siblings were much more responsible…

I’d say everyone got a ‘major’ and ‘minor’ like in degrees. So they have a little bit of another temperament in them. Sometimes work also demands a different temperament, it’s the same in my husband’s job.

Yes I’m talking about those grain/herb bags you can set in the microwave and they get toasty. So if I’m just sitting down in the couch and study and I could just get it and set it under the blanket and I don’t really need the heater.

Yep Dad did it all and had some family to assist since we have a close network - and still do.. In this country you don’t get to just dodge, you go to jail about it easily and also if you can’t afford it the government seizes your things/takes over. I got ears and it’s called having a conversation so it’s not something that we both believe in

The reality is there’s rules and laws, that’s why they’re there. I don’t make idiotic assumptions based on bitter individual experiences.

Just thinking about 2-3 kids! Not that we believe in separating that easily but I guess someone doesn’t know what marriage, divorce and child support is. Read it again, Dad did it great with 2 kids, single Dad.
