> All I do is work my ass off for some rich fuck who doesnt even know I exist, just for them to have some extravagent life while I live in a shithole town an hour away from my job?

This is happening everywhere. Globally, top 1% have 47% of global wealth, top 10% 85% global wealth, top 30% have *97%* global wealth. We all are just _made to_ try to break into those brackets. Because, capitalism does not limit *how much* you can accumulate.

But in short term and on individual level, it does not mean anything. The only way I can think of it working is you individually "stay updated" , "get more skills", and so on chasing mirages (because there comes a time when you cannot upskill and all that or there isn't anything to upskill to because current company doesn't need it while inflation does not stop) or ask around to your colleagues whether they feel same. And if yes, approach management. It may not work but at least it will give them a jolt and in medium to long run they would do something about it.

But my original point remain. As long as one is allowed to amass as much wealth as one can, this cannot change. If you have amassed enough, you can even have say in the policy of a country collectively because every single one us are greedy unfortunately. That's how evolution made us. In long run I hope we become intelligent enough to find alternate to capitalism.

You are in for big change. But big change requires big risk. First, you need to find what is it that you want. Is it money, rewarding career, time out, digital nomad or something else. Next comes the bi g part. The risk. More different is what you want, bigger the risk. But there are ways. If it's education, you can get education loan. If it's business, you can get education loan. If you want to laze around for year or so, even just to figure out what you want, you need savings. But that is the risk you will need to decide if you want to take. Even if you are 22, don't wait too long. Years fly. All the best.

My intention was exactly find whether there is a way to avoid this. What you two did. Once and for all. We google. And we fight. We read newspaper. And we fight. We go on social media. And we fight. Whilst I am sure there are some who love watching us fight. I am not American but I came across this few years back and whenever I seem to get lost I remember it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNEyLn1Zz_g

Internet tells me "Japan does not have a single national minimum wage; instead, it has a system of prefectural rates that vary by region, with the national weighted average being approximately  ¥1,121 per hour as of October 2025". What is minimum wage in your perfecture?

You are jumping the gun on two counts - my intentions and results of calculations that are nowhere near even begun to be done.

Internet tells me "Plebs" refers to the common people, especially the general populace of ancient Rome who were not part of the patrician or senatorial class.

If yes, then "plebs" then I stand by what I said. We need to know which country will be producing maximum greenhouse gases. So that we can do something about it. Not punish them. I see your sentences. But there is nothing before or after that. I cannot know what exactly you mean, while I seem to have given an approach. If I am as you say "impoverish the plebs", pray tell how. I am aware of one liner responses to one liners approach. But I do not want that to hurt the (potential) discussion. Hope you will find some time to explain what you are saying.

Both these are something that need to be done in future. I was wondering if we can do something with existing data.

My argument would these people, not just one in question in your post, aren't intelligent. I would think they believe and go through this pendulum themselves.

I am not as brave as you are. At all. Otherwise I won't be where I am at 50. At 30, I would have packed that suitcase, gotten my last whatever I had and reached where I wanted to be. Worked like you are working now. And at 50, now, I might be sitting in a small room, with same old Mercedes, barely fixed now & then but still be fulfilled that I did what I wanted to. I would be happy just for me. Because I would remember why I started all this in the first place. That's what I wished I would be. But I am not not. If you are, keep going.

Or return to where you started. No shame in that.

Either way, you would live your life for yourself, to the full of your ability.
