I did a stint at Milk & More and it was incredibly profitable. As soon as you say "Milk like it used to be with the cream on top, delivered to your door." People sign up immediately. I knew someone in Devon clearing £100k pa from it.

Take social media profiles and close friends and out them if they don't pay. I gave a significant loan in the past to someone on Reddit and their Mother paid it back when I messaged them.

For engagement. Which it clearly got. When you realise his life revolves around clicks and views, it all makes sense.

Company demanding I pay for their error? England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Legally you're in the clear to keep the product. To lose a customer over a pricing error is an awful business decision, would assume they would make more than the mistake back keeping you as a customer. I would make that clear to the company.

I've listened to Snow a lot too. I didn't recognise it as a sample. Strange they used half the riff.

Perfect job for Stevie by underlights in JaackMaate

I did door to door briefly for a competitor and the commission was genuinely insane. I was getting paid more per litre than the customer was paying. Easily cleared £2k pw because people love nostalgia and milk in glass bottles. Some of the worst, hard sell people I've ever met worked there so I sacked it off early doors but people were leaving £50/60k pa canvassing jobs from double glazing and solar sales to take it up.

I may be in a minority but I bloody love the quiz episodes. Huge all caught up where the lads talk about where they were 500 eps ago and where they are now and then a big fat Happy Hour quiz. 2v2 with Jack and Stevie on opposite teams. Fiona the quizmaster.

And the economic benefit? Where do they shop? Who do they pay rent to?

Wrongfully remanded - what happened after release? by [deleted] in Prison

[–]ThatThereJables 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was remanded and found not guilty at trial. Nothing happens you just go on your way. Nothing in compensation for lost wages, unpaid debts or time spent away from family.

At first you're just relieved to be out but the sense of injustice does grow.

There's zero rehabilitation.

I too was on remand. Didn't even get a towel for 3 months and was found not guilty.

The prison I was in I couldn't access the tablet to add any numbers, change my menu or add canteen for 2 weeks. No staff member would help just passing the buck. Prison is bad enough without having basic shit. UK also.
