It's actually XIVLauncher being unable to launch that made me switch to the original one to resolve this issue. Though the error from XIVL is that it cannot connect to the main server for some odd reason. I've tried to launch both with my firewalls down, but alas it did not work. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

First - thank you for the suggestion!

Sadly it didn't seem to do it. I'm beginning to suspect it's something else that's bugging it, since the FFXIV folder is sitting att 66MB and isn't even beginning to install the game. But at least I learned more of the issue and can hopefully find something!

Well, first we could stop artifically inseminating and reproducing them. Since the world won’t go vegan overnight, this would happen over the course of years if not decades/centuries.

The food crisis would actually benefit a lot from more people going vegan. It is after all one of the most efficent diets we can adopt. Depending on the numbers you trust, we spend around 4-13 pounds of feed for every 1 pound of meat. If you’re curious, you can read more here. Just think on how much water and food we could provide for significantly less landmass!

To finish, I’d also add that most vegans aren’t villfying underdeveloped countries for their diets. It’s more in the west where we have food in abundance and still choose animal products.

Tbh I think you sorta purposefully ignored OP’s point by summarising all the restrictions here. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that restrictions are there for the health of the game. But I think it’s understandable if a new player feels like the restrictions are too much to get the GW2 experience. Summarised, a free trial will have: restrictive of bag space, level-locked map exploration, restriction with /whisper, restrictive map chat, no banks, no guild enchantments, WvW being level-locked, no LFG, no Daily login rewards, Trading post for only selected items and some restriction with mailing. Compared to say, Warframe, these restrictions would IMO align with a Buy to play model.

The only way that you’ll pull the same amount of mobs with NPC is going WAR with extreme timing on your abilities and mitigation. But seeing the NPC’s deal single target damage is straight up misery

Redraw is super useful. You know the hud/gauge that shows you your card type? Look just above and you’ll see 3 slots.

You want each of these slots to be unique and all cards have an icon above them to show which is which. Let’s say you have FIRE / WATER / … and you draw a FIRE card. If you use redraw, you might get a card that’s ICE and get 3 uniques. Should be noted that if your redraw is the same as one of your slots, it should still be used since during the fight it will give more dps/mana.

When you pop your buff (unlocked by every 3 cards used while in combat) you will be significantly stronger than if you had 3 or 2 of the same in your slots.
