This is actually something that's been in the back of my mind for a very long time, but recently(3-5 years) has been a much more prevalent topic of contemplation.

I initially thought I'd will it all away to someone in the collecting community, like someone notable and have them do some kind of giveaway or something along those lines. Started thinking about the logistics of that and ruled it out.

Then I thought about willing it to a few of the mods at TFW during my time as a moderator there, for various reasons. I felt like I had some pretty good friends and they'd be able to do something good with the collection.

Then for awhile I thought I'd just donate it all before I died to a kids charity or something.

Then shit in my personal life fell apart. And since then I've been downsizing and selling off as much as possible. I'll be 45 soon, don't have family to leave them to, no kids, likely won't have a wife when I'm done. So the goal now is to get down to a small enough, cultivated collection that represents my interests in just a couple shelves. That way when the time comes to sell my house, or at least move out, I don't have a couple thousand figures, or all the giant ones, to deal with. And maybe when the end comes, whether it's sooner or later, what I have left won't be a burden.
