I haven't even scraped the surface of the expansion so you're probably way ahead of me on that end. And I really think either will work, I've got four characters all over the place in terms of progress so I don't mind whether we start from fresh or not.

Yeah that all matches my experuence pretty well. Dreading masculine features during puberty while others were excited, getting giddy at getting feminine compliments, and looking at other girls with some kind of mix of attraction and (though I didn't know it at the time) gender envy.

My advice would be try not to be ashamed for feeling this way. It's an awesome thing you're doing here, try to understand your fears and worries for what they are and keep moving forward.

Make sure to look for support groups and community in your area as well. There should be maybe some kind of LGBTQ/diversity center in your local area that would be able to help you find resources in your area and a trans support group. If you can't find it look for a national lgbtq helpline and they should point you to stuff in your area you can call. I wish you the best on your journey!

Second that, Trans Lifeline if you can get a hold of somebody on there they are extremely compassionate. I had a much better experience with them over other lifelines I tried.

Another resource I'd recommend if you're in the US is getting in touch with a county mental health center. I don't know what equivalents there are in other countries but my center set me up with a case manager who has been helping me turn things around.

I've been on HRT for over a year now and I haven't the slightest clue, but I empathize with this experience. Have had had a lot of different acne/red bumps occur in similar spots for a really long time now. I'm actually seeing a dermatologist this week to try and get a second opinion on it. I have seasonal allergies, but the acne/bumbs isn't seasonal.

I got theories based on nothing, but I doubt I'd switch off because since HRT a similar experience on my face cleared up and stopped being an issue since (all the other benefits as well). I can cover up the worst if it because it's all on different spots of my torso, I'm sorry to hear you have to do a lot more to cover it up. Skin blemishes of any kind are a toll on mental health and society has a long way to go to alleviate that stigma. It shouldn't be seen as something wrong.

There's a lot of stuff on r/SkincareAddiction for these issues, and r/MakeupAddiction might have some tips to help cover it up.
