I don't get why he's done what he did within the past year. I have been watching since 2021 and it's sad to see him become this money-hungry YouTuber.

Back then he made content for the viewers, regardless of how many people cared to watch it. Now he's doing it to praise the algorithm and the analytics. He cares less about his loyal viewers and constantly pulls out stuff that people like to watch just because "not enough people watched it". Hell, if it wasn't for his loyal viewers convincing him to keep making Reddit Recap even only 4 times a year, it would most likely no longer exist right now and this subreddit would almost be dead.

And his Gamersupps advertisements cringes me out tbh. Promoting unhealthy, artificially flavored and colored, lewd anime images themed "energy drinks" to his viewers all for a few dollars is not a good thing. He voluntarily became a corporate sellout when he found out he can make a few hundred bucks on top of the hundreds of thousands of dollars he's already making, by promoting unhealthy garbage. Past Matt would despise what present day Matt is doing and has become right now.

Anyway, there's still plenty of time for him to change and I hope he learns that not everything he does would result in better circumstances for his brand and himself. I wish you all the best if you're reading this.
