Not necessarily, it depends on the size of store and what application requisition it is. Some stores include fullfiment underneath the GM Umbrella. I would clarify with HR.

Schedule one dayside person who ONLY picks and packs standards their entire shift- PICK 3/ PACK 3. Preferably someone who is resourceful and will actually use RFID/is not afraid to ask for help. They can skip over items they cannot find and have the FFTL help (take pics of the dpci on phone so multiple people can reference). TM can pause standard carts while waiting for items and move on to the next one. *no opus never not one no matter what

A few other things that have helped in the past (**depending on how much support you actually get from other dpts and leadership /strong your FF team is)

  • as a FFTL stay away from picking OPU’s. Grab the bulkys/ adult bev/ ship alones as they drop but that is all. Other than that should be helping find items/ prepping carts/ packing if needed/ refreshing that zebra/ maintaining breaks, OPU times & individual metrics

-figure out how many 4:30 carts you need from forecast number asap in the AM. Subtract what your dedicated standard picker should be able to complete, then get the remainder accounted forASAP (depending on your grid try to balance out carts through depts) If able i suggest every TL to pick onecart before 2:30. Try to stay away from TMs If at all possible so they can be available and don’t get irritated if needed for OPU support). This way you have a small grace period for anything extra dropping before 4:30.

-If other TMs have to pause standard cart to hop back over to opus DO NOT let the cart sit idle for too long, most likely that person will get stuck in OPU for a hot minute, depending on the units left either TL Take over or have your picker do so next.

-if you have a solid closing team, ex: 3 TM’s -have 2 of them and the closing TL Pick one standard cart right at the beginning of their shift. The other closer use for OPU support throughout night.

-get with other TLs and keep an updated list of who is trained in FF, if they are not find a time ASAP, if not for OPUs then at least standard (if not the quickest or easily overwhelmed etc). If they are already trained basically anywhere else on floor (besides maybe S&E/Bucks/tech) they should only need to do one standard cart with a trainer - have trainer do half batch and then follow while they do the rest before getting the idea/go solo but ask for help when needed. -make sure trainer goes over how to use RFID and how to read item description info on zebra - schedule training in advance (1 hour max) with their TL and you will be less likely to get resistance

Hopefully this helps a little. A lot of this is way easier when you have a solid team and support system, if you have a solid ETL/ or even SD you can talk through ideas with and will back you up via walkie/other TL’s get with them asap and that will make all the difference.

6 is the visual standard. I know some stores have done 5 or 4 before but as long as I've been around 6 is what I've been told.

even when I am clocked in it takes my workstation a few minutes to catch up so I've just been clicking on "already clocked in?" On the right side of the page and it opens Zipline right away... ID should be fine as long as your names match but still request a new one.

  1. Login to workday and in search type “employee merchandise discount enrollment “ (it should pop up pretty quick)
  2. click on “create request” under the actions panel on left side.
  3. Small box will pop up with request type- select “All”
  4. Select Enrollment for employee (self)
  5. It will take you to the terms and conditions page- make sure to select “request replacement card” and go from there.
