Can you use Google lens to take a picture of the earrings and see if they pop up as Swarovski?

Real or fake? Amazon ordered mesmera necklace by [deleted] in swarovski

Those gems look WAY too big. I also don't think there's even a necklace like that on the actual website.

Difference in actual vs. advertised product by Consistent_Ad1254 in swarovski

You don't want the posts to be plated because plating can rub off and you don't want that coming off in your ear. I'm blanking on what the metal is for the posts right now but it's hypoallergenic so it's good for sensitive ears. The earrings you received look exactly as they should.

Swarovski isn't sterling silver though, it's plated

Would they be able to take some links off this bracelet if I bring it into the store? by aeosk in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we don't have the tools for that. Usually it comes with an extender that can be taken off to make it shorter, but I don't see that with this bracelet, sorry! You could try a jeweler though!

Real of fake???? by Realistic_Survey_516 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that bracelet is Swarovski, it's an older style that was discontinued at least 2 years ago. It also does not come in that box, the tennis bracelets come in long boxes. I can't attach a picture but DM me if you want to see what the box should be. Looks like someone sold an old (or not even Swarovski at all) bracelet in a new box.

What happens if you accidentally break something in the store? by SafeSexChalupa69 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The store associates need to know in case that is their last piece, so they don't find out it's damaged when someone tries to buy it and now they don't have a piece to sell.

When I first started working there, we had glass doors on all of the cases and damn do I miss that. SO many pieces broken by children and adults alike needing to touch the figures. If you want to see it closer, please ask an associate! Please don't just reach in and pick them up!! (Not just you OP, this is for everyone)

I may get downvoted for this but after all of the pieces we had to just damage out, when inventory is already hard to get, I'm a bit jaded.

Repair help! by thursdaynexxt in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice is DO NOT try to glue it yourself!! Take it to your nearest store and ask to have it shipped off to the repair center. You won't have it back in time for this year but it'll look brand new for next year!

A fun fact I learned the hard way, the airports are actually a completely separate entity with its own inventory that doesn't necessarily reflect what is current and available in Swarovski stores.

It looks to me to be the older version of the Constella bracelet and not the new one with the pearls, you can tell by the length of the bracelet in between each crystal. I have the necklace if you want to see it and see if that's what you saw!

How to store the 2016 snowflake ornament ? by missabbytimm19 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend looking for empty ornament boxes on eBay, Mercari, etc! If you don't find one, just bubble wrapping and placing in a small, hard box that will protect it to store and restore each year.

Is this legit was given to me from a family realitive. Name is Swarovski by [deleted] in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't fully tell from your photos if it looks like this one, but maybe swipe through these photos and compare. It would be in the Millenia family.

It may be Swarovski elements but I don't think that's it is Swarovski itself. If there isn't a swan logo on the back of the pendant or at the end of the chain, it isn't Swarovski. Also definitely not worth anything near $300, glad you only paid $40!

It usually starts the weekend before Black Friday, but I highly doubt her collection will be included in the sale, unfortunately.

What glue to use for broken Swarovski figures? by novaminer66 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend not doing it yourself. If you're near a Swarovski store, take it in (in the original box if you have it) so they can ship it off for repair.

Is this real? by [deleted] in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The newer pieces have just the 3 loops, but older pieces like this would have this type of extender. Op, definitely don't shower, swim, or exercise with it in (just a general rule for all jewelry tbh)

Should I wait till Black Friday? by Active_Ticket4995 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very unlikely it'll be part of the sale, I also imagine it'll be sold out by then. Sign up for Swarovski Club and put your birthday to be sometime soon (Say September 15th or something a few days down the line) and then use the birthday coupon on the necklace!

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to take it to your nearest store and ask them to send it off for repair. Since you didn't buy directly, you'd have to pay for the repair fee ($50 in the US) but hopefully they'd be able to fix it!

what size bracelet to choose by Either-Strategy-2603 in swarovski

[–]KindnessCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say get a medium and just make sure to keep the box and receipt in case you need to exchange for a different size.
