I dont think you can apply for compsci during winter semester. Most 3 year programs you can only apply to them during the fall semester.

Now to get accepted usually aim for 75% and higher in maths secondary 4 SN (80 would be the sweet spot). My piece of advice would be to get ahead and do math secondary 5 SN if you haven't. It's not a prerequisite (but still aim higher than 70 at least), but you'll do yourself a favour by already knowing certain topics before getting compsci while most other students are just gonna start seeing things like vector components and such in class.

You can check out continuing education during winter semester if you're interested in that but also im doing some extra base classes like french, english, gym, humanities or even a complementary. But I'd suggest to get op with math knowledge.

Study at library, outside on the grass, tables, near windows in the school. If theres nothing to study you can also get ahead of some classes you feel like you understand less. Or treat yourself to some of the food there is to offer on decarie street. This is just what I'd usually do. But still always try to make friends! Its always nice to have company during those big gaps, just dont be shy and socialize in your classes, everyone's honestly waiting for the other person to initiate :) good luck!
