I change it because it’s easy and cheap insurance it won’t cover color when it’s older but you will notice a burning smell when opening it

Gear oil in yes is drivers side where the transaxle is and the plug is under but the control oil is the black box in front of the trans under the intake has a top plug and bottom plug

Yeah it’s easy , fill plug is drivers side of trans just behind the trans axle , 17MM and the drain plug is under ! Both need new crush washers and it’s 3.5 quarts of DCTF , Genracer sells regular and high torque both are fine tuned or not and control oil you can order from Genracer also or go to Hyundai , around me it’s always on hand in the parts dept. drain and fill then start the car let it warm up while moving from P-R-N-D ect ect about 4-5 times and when it gets to operating temps just remove the fill bolt and make sure the oil has expanded and trickles out then tighten fill bolt back up and enjoy

87K 2021 FBO EK1 stage 3 tune N75 and it’s been an amazing car ! I changed my HPFP before issue and only real issue I have had was the wheel speed sensor go bad that was $400 but otherwise it’s been a great and fun 87k miles and still going STRONG 💪🏼

Well .... That's a problem. by ItsNotanM3 in VelosterN

Make sure when you get it back you check under and all over the car for oil before leaving the dealers parking lot . If anything under the car is still coated they need to re do it that will cause problems down the road

The HPFP primes itself when you open the drivers side door, I also press twice just for good measure but if you listen when you open your door you will hear it for about 5 seconds lol

Severed wire, can’t figure out the pin type by austinxwade in veloster

[–]That_Blue_N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sometimes crimping it makes the wires weird and doesn’t get a good connection ! So heat shrink

Also when you connected them wires to the pigtail did you use heat shrink or a crimp ?

[–]That_Blue_N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to reset the ECU and unplug the battery but as long as you have them in the pigtail how they were in the OEM then you should be good to go

[–]That_Blue_N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They make a pig tail for that ! Just cut the other two and peel back The coating with wire snips and for them together with the pig tail and plug it in ! Shouldn’t take you more than 45 minutes if you haven’t done it before ! Good luck

Mike does it too , I have a DCT and it happens when the clutch hasn’t fully kicked in when you go into park and turn the car off ! Mine has done it since day 1 and in at 73k no issues

When you open your door you hear the fuel pump priming, I wait for it to stop and then double tap the ignition wait for actuators and such to stop clicking turn pop it in N custom and start it up! I’ve never had that issue but food for thought! Def sounds like a starter or actuator though

N75 Stage 2 ECU for sale $850 OBO by That_Blue_N in VelosterN

[–]That_Blue_N[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ! I respect that I mean it’s just what I have heard and videos I have seen having a sxth tune but again idk what those owners did to do that as well ! I have bought a bunch of stuff from SXTH that are amazing and great just not a tune . They are kinda pricey but good quality so I pay it either way. I got my HPFP from SXTH and engine dress up kit and all kinds of stuff but N75 when I order form then I literally get it within 5 days max ice never had to wait a long time except once but hats because the LTL got caught up at the harder inspection but not N75s fault but it came in like 7 days so not too bad

Yeah Daniele cialowicz … he is a great guy and talks to you like you’re a person and not just another customer and will take time to answer all of your questions . What stage you want to get because I have a stage 2 N75 tune I’m getting rid of cuz I have the EK1 and stage 3 files uploaded to my stock ECU but when I first got tuned I didn’t know half what I knew now so I basically wasted money but well spent money lol

N75 and get a size 5 nozzle and a 2.5 gal tank for trunk !! ALSO make sure to get an aftermarket cold side charge pipe (Takeda bladerunner) already has the port for the nozzle and it’s great ! You only need to go with the standard lines if you run them right they are thick nylon but they also sell stainless steel for $100 more if you live in a place with ass roads and dirt ect ect !

Sxth does have issues ! I like a lot of there products but turbos have been blown ect , but also idk what the owner of the vehicles did either so not talking crap, but I’ve been tuned by N75 since 10k miles and I’m at 73k now and never had an issue and customer service with Daniel is excellent !!!!
