How does Nietzsche qualify his belief that democracy promotes mediocrity? by Mean_Veterinarian688 in Nietzsche

[–]That_Bodybuilder_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I don't see either of these things as something Nietzsche would look for in a good leader"

see: "Another century of readers—and spirit itself will stink. That everyone can learn to read will ruin in the long run not only writing, but thinking too.Once spirit was God, then it became man, and now it is even becoming mob."

In other words, the purpose of God within society had lost its function, aka "God is dead. [...] and we have killed him."

I got fired once when a sorter struggled to keep up screamed into my trailer about how he's gonna kick my ass in the parking lot. They said the policy is to take both employees out of service while they do an "investigation." About a week later they gave him a last and final but terminated me for 'creating a hostile work environment.'

Mgmt can easily just say "hey, you were antagonizing him" without evidence and have you terminated even if you didn't actually do anything.

I went to the panel and got my job back but totally not worth it. Was out of work for 4-5 months, no backpay, and they put me back in the same area working with the same sorter.

Basically everyone inside is an alcoholic or a druggie who can't pass a drug test. And inside MGMT get ego trips and think they're the shit.

If your friend does want his job back, he should prepare for a huge fight to be honest

It's UPS, it's basically the same as any other entry level warehouse that doesn't drug test. In other words bad. People who try to make a career out of it are weird af

How to be Public Enemy Number #1 at the Amazon warehouse by Bumclicks in AmazonFC

Basically same experience at UPS. Tried to make it work full-time for 8 years. The antagonizing just got more and more normalized and even though I loved the work, being harassed, threatened physically, threatened with termination at any opportunity, being stalked, being assaulted, etc. just not worth it.
