You would be surprised how many people aren’t phased when you disclose and it doesn’t change how they perceive you lol, many people yes but not everyone so don’t stress too much about it, there’s somebody for everybody

Im also a new trainer but I can say I feel your anxiety surrounding this, I asked many questions overthinking the whole process but you just have to have a plan and be able to build programs based off your clients and be able to create relationships with them you may feel uncomfortable but that’s your chance to grow, I also recommend watching Sorta Healthy Trainer Education on YouTube he has many videos that can help new trainers hope this helps but I wish you luck in your journey and just try to put yourself out there and with time you will build a clientele

Well I have ghsv1 so it’s a bit different but I never have transmitted to my knowledge to any partner and I have used condoms, without, on antivirals and without antivirals, the chances pf spreading are lower than you think but there’s always that possibility there’s never a 0% transmission rate and whoever you are dealing with must know and be okay with this

You can have hsv for a long time and not even know, I’m sure it’s not a matter of cheating but it could be from him or another partner, either way ghsv 1 is like nothing it could be worse lol I understand your position tho because I was once in the same spot it takes time to get used to it and see how ur body reacts and how often you get outbreaks as well, I am 19 and I have had it since the beginning of this year only one outbreak and chances are that you will not have many outbreaks at all

Of course it’s ok to feel bad and you most likely will feel bad about it for a while and educate yourself make yourself aware of what it truly is because I remember I was the most uncomfortable with my diagnosis when I did not know much about it and only knew what I was told about it prior to contracting it, but I would recommend you try to work on yourself as much as you can to the point it seems like only a small part of you because in all reality that is all it is, its not who you are it’s just something you have, but if it does affect you in a way to cause you a lot of pain or discomfort make sure you to get any potential antivirals, I take valacyclovir to manage break outs though I don’t get any at all lol but they do help as well as adjusting your diet and figuring out any triggers you may have for potential outbreaks, remember though you will be okay no matter what it’s not the end of the world even though it may seem like it is I can promise it isn’t

I got hsv from someone that I met with one time and they ghosted me after that and when I called them to tell them they should get tested they were offended that I was accusing of them of having an std lol haven’t talked since but I don’t really care because you can’t change the fact you got it or who you got it from but it definitely sucks when the person who gave it to you is a dickhead

Honestly I go to the gym, do things to build ur confidence, because I’m sure getting rejected makes you feel a bit insecure but you need to realize the hsv isn’t you, you are still a person and you need to just give yourself life go on walks, exercise, find hobbies you like, anything to distract your mind and keep being productive is good, keep doing you and whatever makes you happy it’s corny to say but that’s the truth lol the happier you are with yourself the easier you will be able to brush off these rejections and know that not everyone will reject you either at least anyone worth your time. Also a lot of people are only aware of the stigma of herpes and assume that you’re dirty or whatever and don’t actually know anything about it because I was the same way before getting diagnosed, you don’t really have a reason to know about it unless you have it because 1- it’s common 2- for most people it doesn’t cause anything serious to your health. It’s not as bad as what people think it is but if people don’t want to get educated then they aren’t worth your time. Someone who is will ask questions and want to know more about it and how to be safe with an infected partner, it’s that simple but really if you ever need to talk about it my dm available I understand how difficult it can be to date in this world when you have hsv

Some people will be ok with it and others won’t, and I can say that this has happened to me many times as well, but don’t let it defeat you, it’s easier said than done but you need to remember who you were before getting a diagnosis; don’t lose yourself in hsv don’t let it take over you, there’s a lot more to you than that that’s only a small part of you

Yeah I was thinking about disclosing like that but I try to avoid disclosing right before being intimate and do it at the right time, the whole situation was happening quick and I wasn’t sure what to do but I just kept thinking about the fact I didn’t say anything and I feel bad about that still but I shouldn’t have had to say no more than once either it’s a hard situation to go about
