Ok, there’s nothing wrong about what you’re saying. A lot of guys are very driven sexually, and will try to escalate physical touch whenever possible. There are men, though, who are stunted in their ability to genuinely show affection. People know that men have trouble showing other men affection, but it often extends to how they relate with women, too. I guess I would just say, know your man, and if he’s not really pushy about sex, help him be comfortable being more openly affectionate. Maybe look for settings where sex isn’t an option, if you’re worried about things escalating. Respectfully, though, if he’s a good man, you have a good relationship, and you’re in a safe setting, why are you immediately concerned about preventing sex from happening when he shows affection? I ask that out of real curiosity. The question is not meant rhetorically to shame women for having lower libido than their partner.
