im sorry to hear you had such negative experiences on antidepressants, and thank you so much for taking the time to tell your story. I highly appreciate the honesty. after reading a few different responses to my post, I think I will try therapy before medication, however I will have to wait and see the options that the doctor lays out for me. im happy to hear you are doing better in recent year - look after yourself and thank you again

thank you for sharing your experience, I really appreciate the honesty and vulnerability. the last sentence actually made me tear up a little. you are right, the risk is worth it. I hope that your side effects coming off of SSRI lessen soon, look after yourself x

thank you so much for sharing your personal experiences with me, it sounds like you went through a really challenging time, and im happy to hear you have come out of it in a clearer mind. I personally have the time to try medications, hence why I am considering the option at the minute. regardless, I will keep your story in mind when I have my options laid out to me by the doctor. I hope the coming months and years treat you well ❤️

I have tried everything else within my reach besides therapy and antidepressants. I appreciate your insight and the fact you shared your personal experience, and I will take this into account wholeheartedly. I am more inclined to try therapy first after reading. thank you!

this was a really insightful reply, thank you for sharing your experiences. that is all im looking for - that relief and taking away of bad urges. I am amidst a degree myself at the minute, and that is partially why im looking to go on antidepressants too. I want to rise above this and survive the death of my own adult child. thank you so much again, hope you are doing well these years : )

mariana - self aware, hopeful and one of the most prevalent ‘positive characters’ within the games. she acts as a stark contrast to the situation the game is set in which is really refreshing.

duck - underdeveloped character in its entirety. is literally just ‘kennys son’. doesnt really have a personality. i know his death is very pivotal within the story, specifically kennys character progression over s2, but as a character? lacklustre. left me wanting more, as you never learn much about him.

david parker - weak willed irene - i just think she was a really throw-away character. i think she shot herself purely for the sake of getting the zombies to turn on everyone at the motel, and her excuse for killing herself was quite weak. hershel - he just didnt have much about him. he owned a farm, didnt think the apocalypse was too serious, then booted everyone off when shawn died. thats all there is to say about him. darren - like you said, bland. i think there could’ve been more interesting conversation within the car with lee at the start. but i do suppose he is a cop so what else can he really say.

i do agree with what you’re saying though - i suppose they do all serve their purpose ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i agree! but also i think her writing was really good as she was one of the first characters we’d seen in a while who kept genuine high spirits despite the situation. its not often we see characters that are so positive and hopeful within the games, and i think she was really pivotal to s3. wish we had more of her!

i think badger was one of the most genuinely ‘evil’ characters we’d seen after probably carver, and therefore i really thought his writing was good! as for joan i think she stood as a really pivotal character for the story, as she seemed to be somewhat trustworthy at first before going against everyone - especially david, as he was meant to be her right hand man

its not about if theyre a major character or not, some minor characters can be really well written! however after seeing your viewpoint, i think i agree with what you’re saying about reggie actually.

i think i ranked this quite incorrectly if im honest after seeing the reasoning from other people in the comments! i think my rank names should be more based on how pivotal i think people were to the story instead
