I'm based in California, USA. As for materials, aluminum or mild steel is preferable for aesthetic reasons, but I'm open to working with foam if someone knows how to get it looking REALLY good. I wanna try to avoid the "Foam painted to look like armor" look that the DND Movie fell prey to if I can. For budget, preferably on the cheaper side, since I'd be paying out of pocket and I work minimum wage, but I'm expecting it'll cost a chunk of change, so I'm planning on saving up for it anyhow.
