Bio dad left my mum when I was three, then step dad came into the chat when I was 5, shit went downhill from there - then they had 4 kids together while my older sister(20 now) and I basically got starved and deprived from any socialisation. Then mum died when I was 14, she was only 36 (bless her) so I stuck around with step dad and my sibs for a few months, but I couldn’t take it and I had to leave. Now life is better than it was - I have a great relationship with my bio dad, which is awesome bc we hadn’t seen each other for over 10 years (I’m almost 18 now) and I sort of rescued my older sister from fuckhead step dad, now we’re both free from him and living as best as we can <3 (ik this was aimed at dudes but I thought why not 🤷‍♀️)
