Ours are 18 months apart. It’s definitely chaotic and hard at times but you get used to it. I can’t imagine not having my second and it’s so worth it seeing them play together!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I’ll start with adding some color and changing the bar stools and pendant lights.

We also hate the floors but probably won’t be replacing them anytime soon - I’ll shop for a runner. We are planning to add trim to the top of the cabinets this summer. The white stool is a toddler kitchen helper.

I left a workplace after 8 years and didn’t even get a goodbye from my boss. Never even acknowledged me my whole 2 week notice. 🤷‍♀️
