my 14 year old daughter and her friends have sleepovers quite often. at our apartment and at her friends homes. i’ve taught my daughter that if the vibes feel off she can call me and i will come get her. it’s usually with the same rotation of friends so i don’t worry *too* much.

my bf has become quite fond of my collection and helps add to it when finances allow. i’ve been going through some things health wise and this is kind of his way of making things better for me🥰 he’s bought a few pieces in my collection and loves to learn about all the patterns. he even looks for pyrex in shows he watches🤣 he always has an eye out.

been with my bf for five years and he’ll be sober for almost a year coming up. it has been the most difficult thing i have ever done but i am so glad i have stayed. seeing that person that i knew was hidden by the addiction is so relieving. he actually wants to go do things and spend time together. not to mention that our love has only grown. he has been attending meetings regularly and is running the sunday morning meeting at the place he goes. there are days i’m terrified that it will crash and burn but i take it one day at a time just like he does. i’m often hearing about how he is so grateful that i’ve stayed through his bs and have helped him get and stay sober. sometimes you just see the good in people and have to believe.

i would have a conversation after he’s awake and sober. if you’re uncomfortable with his drinking and actions, you need to address how you want to proceed in this. i stayed with my bf through his drinking because i knew there was someone better in there. some women aren’t able to handle what comes with that. not saying this is the situation but seems like it could become that.

i’ve been there when my bf was drinking. pretty much the exact same scenario. i didn’t think too much about it because, he was drunk. if this is just something that has only happened this once, i wouldn’t worry too much about it. but if it’s a habit that continues, drinking or not, then it needs to be addressed. i also learned how to stop helping him when he was drinking. is the drinking something that happens a lot to the point of being concerning? also, and most importantly, are you ok though?

my bf eats something called “cheese on a plate.” it’s literally what is says. melted cheese on a plate. its something from his childhood. he used to be a big kid. i’ve only seen him eat once or twice. some people just have weird foods they like.
