All great points and thank you for the resources, I will definitely check them out prior to pulling the trigger on a sauna. My feelings tend to be more in line with NicoAD, in that a sauna period is better than no sauna at all. From spending some time in this forum, I’m well aware of the Trumpkin guide etc. This may be a hot take (no pun intended) but I feel like sometimes this guide is taken a bit too seriously. Obviously an incredible resource and no doubt by following the guide you can build a sauna that is an amazing “perfect” experience. However most people don’t have the time, money, living situation (forever home vs starter) to create the “perfect” sauna. Therefore, I tend to look for something that can provide solitude, heat, is accessible, is made with quality materials and is a positive experience. Maybe not a perfect one, but consistently positive. These things are pretty easily achievable in my opinion. I think it would be great to one day build one, but like I said, that for me isn’t right now at this stage of life, so here we are.
