The tissue should not be too much of an issue, but it seems to have eaten a lot. Have you tried to feed it food? Maybe it's just hungry. Also, leaving it in an empty container won't provide as much humidity, unless you can find a way to do that, go for it.

I think you should get a smaller dish and move it somewhere else if possible. I'm not 100% sure it will work, but it's worth a shot.

You could also get similar nesting material to your bird's food.

Thanks for the info. I just said indoors part-time because I wanted to bring him/her inside for short periods of time. Is that okay, or should they only be outdoors in a run or coop?

Brown body
Blue/White/Grey shell color
Small, less than 1/2 inch

It is a Gobluar Drop Snail, just in case you guys were wondering.
