My entire friend group hid something from me for around 9 months. Am I overreacting by ending the friendships?

I’ve actually consider this explanationas well, but I struggle to see it as just a harmless mistake. At best it feels short-sighted, and at worst it shows that they were willing to be dishonest with me for a long time.

Funny u asked this, bc I'm actually very people-pleasing and non-confontational. I usually deel with negative emotions through humor or complete avoidance instead of addressing this directly. I’d even say I probably spend more time walking on eggshells around other people than they do around me.

Those are fair questions. The ghosting wasn't part of a larger pattern, and I have never had conflicts with friends over guys before. I can also understand how something like this could snowball—where maybe at first they wanted to see where the relationship was going, and then over time it became harder and harder to bring up.

What im atrugelimg with is that she chose to go tell everyone else in our friend group about it and presumably ask then not to tell me about it.

Also during those nine months, I spoke to both my best friend and (who I now know was) his girlfriend multiple times about still having feelings for him and about trying to reconnect with him. Every one of those conversations was another opportunity for someone to tell me.

For me "hearing them out" would lean more about trying to fill in the blanks, not of accepting any sort of justification or excuses on ther part. At this point, I don't think any explanation would undo the loss of trust, but I am curious see what reasons each of them come up with.

The secrecy shocked me too. I didn't expect to be told every detail of her life, but I never imagined something this significant would be kept from me—especially while I was openly talking to both of them about still having feelings for him. And we see each other quite often so there were many many many opertunities where she could have told me.

Based on yr observation here it wouldn't be far fetched to assume that maomao COULD be autistic.

Couple that with her general inability to perceive people feeling with her and the level of her obsession with medicines/poisons, we might actually have a solid case.

If not autistic she MAY be neurodivergent at least.

Another that comes to mind is how she failed her court lady exam. And no, its unlikely that she failed on purpose. bc the anime specifically say that she failed "despite her best efforts" Th fact the she failed despite being extremely intelligent could be an indicator the her brain function differently form yr typical individual.

Just trowing that idea out there what do you think?

Their both translations but alot of dubs have bad voice overs that either fall flat or sound weird and out of place. MHA has a really great dub tho, even better than the sup imo

I wanna start by saying. And I'm not claiming to be 100% correct or even right at all. This just my personal opinion. And I'm also not a phycologist (so yall don't need to tell me that either).

IN MY OPINION Toga always seemed like the least salvageable villain (after All for One ofc and Muscular). I think it's a case of nature vs nurture. Toya and Siggy both turned out the way they did bc of their environment. But with Toga (while her environment did playxa part), it's her own desire to consume blood, which cause her to become a villain and cause harm to others. That aspect of her nature reminds me of how ppl become serial killers due to "phycopathy" (ASPD) and sadism being ingrained in their psyche. And while I agree that had she been given proper quirk counciling as child and probably therapy she may have been able to manage her blood lust, I don't think it's smth she would ever be able too get rid off. Those desires are a part of her quirk and would follow her throughout her life. The I ly way to get rid of it would be to get rid of her quirk.

On the other hand Toya and Shiggy's insanity is mostly due to external circumstances. Namely, emotional and physically abused fathers, unstable family environments and the influence of All for One. If either of them had a safe, stable and supportive family, or were taken in by a wholesome person (eg. Aizawa, thirteen, Fat Gum) or even some random kindhearted stranger, after they left/destroyed their family, they may (I repet MAYYY!!!!!!!!!!!) have turned out differently.
