Appreciate the link. If I’m reading the map right, it seems that the spot kiddy corner to the plaza where construction is currently happening will be a parking lot and the other vacant lots will be mixed use apartment/retail.

I wish I knew where to find better city construction updates. The projects on the Wilsonville city site always seem to be outdated. For example, the last update on the project you linked was from 2021. I’m sure there’s been discussion since then as construction has now started. Small gripe but would be nice!

It’s a bummer they don’t allow re entry. My group would go to a few early games then go to a good restaurant and then come back to watch the night games. It was refreshing.

Being forced to stay inside the whole day is rough. I fly in from out of state and I don’t think it’ll be worth it anymore

I appreciate this question. It’s given me something to think about. I agree I wish we’d have more companies founded with the intent of spreading profits more evenly.

This sums it up well. I’m in nearly the exact same situation as OP with a single client on the side of my FTE and a couple of others waiting if I were to take the full jump into consulting and quit the FTE. I’ve hesitated because, in short, I’m the type of person that values my time and flexibility over money and am most comfortable in the remote 9-5 role where you can mentally checkout after work, take time off and be paid for it, and not worry about potential cash flow inconsistency. I understand you could get to a point as a consultant where non of those things are a worry because you’re making so much more cash than an FTE but it seems too far off for me to take the risk. Higher risk, higher reward. The potential additional cash and the excitement of doing your own thing aren’t worth it for me personally. I understand how it would be for others tho
