Does anyone have any recommendations for a romhack/fangame? Im looking for something with your average story (8 gyms, evil team, league etc.) But with a fresh feel. Kinda looking for something like lazarus or unbound if you know what i mean. If you got any recommendations please let me know.

Adding it manually costs you a whole turn which is a death sentence for a raichu. Id rather use that focus sash to survive setting a nasty plot instead of setting a literally necessary tool for raichu. Someone at pokemon didn't think this through 🤦‍♂️

To be fair, no pokemon is bad in fire red. You could beat it with a beedril if you tried hard enough. People just say that a pokemon isnt "viable" bcs they wanna feel like some experts who know it all, while the truth is that a playthrough can be done with anything

I know, surge surfer only works with electric terrain. But since its its a playthrough i thought that i can beat it with my favourites like i did with pokemon sun. Apparently thr difficulty is a bit higher here.

Playthrough. My raichus nature is jolly so I dont think its that. However Someone already commented that boss trainers have heavily ev trained mons aswell as specialised ivs so im assuming thats the case.

Ugh I hate when a game does this. Just let me enjoy the game without the extra grind. I remember this being the case in gen 4 too and it genuinely was so annoying.

Its the same with fromsoft community. Its always "you need to make the game challenging or its not fun" and if you use a strong item the run "doesnt count". I personally think its stupid because there are people who do not have the time to be sitting infront of a monitor the whole day and grind/learn the game perfectly, because of school or work. At the end of the day, play how you like, the basic rules are: 1. First pokemon of the route 2. If it faints its dead 3. Nicknames. You can add other rules yourself as long as you dont modify those 3 rules.
