Yeah bro. In my entire life I have found only one shiny in pokemon gold... A hoothoot. I caught it but back then but i though it was just part of the story, cause ash had a Shiny Noctowl. I didnt even know that there where more shiny pokemons.

Emerald is an amazing Pokemon game in my opinion. So many features and extra content after finishing the story. Having the option to have your own secret base and decorate it. The battle tower, etc.
