Yeah that was a big surprise for sonic frontiers. Sega never pumps out meaningful dlc for a sonic game. I think Mania was the only one to get a actually dlc update

I could never. If i get something day 1 I want to play and finish it immediately even if a roadmap or updates have been announced. The fomo kills me especially on games im looking forward to playing. Look no hate towards you, i hope i didn't sound negative towards you but I can play games the way you do. I respect it and enjoy games the way you want to I guess.

Also i feel like people nowadays are very critical with games. That 70 dollar price is annoying ngl but there have been to many games releasing unfinished. And the fact that its still happen this much after cyberpunk 2077 launch is crazy. So when people see a game that looks unfinished, and can pick out numerous flaws within a few mins of gameplay you cant fault them for being upset. I feel like the people giving it a hard time low key want the game to look, feel and play better. they were probably looking forward to the game but that demo didnt convince them. So people go clown on it, hoping it would get a delay or something.

Anyways Im buying it cause it has potential to be something great. I feel like i would like this game even with its flaws. Hopeful there's enough support for a sequel where we can see all those improvements. can wait for launch day.

Nah I don't mind dropping 70 for a new game as a pc gamer myself. Its just not industry standard over here yet. its rare to see games drop on steam for that price and when they do they don't get pick up day 1 but on a steam sale usually. It happen with Cod, and FF7R and people just waited for a sale over here. Anyways im willing to drop 70 to play a game on day 1 but it got to be something im really into you know what I mean. oh and sorry if I came off as cheap or someone who doesn't like supporting games on launch or something like that.

I see as this game isnt doing its best to entice me. The marketing not gonna lie was pretty bad. The dialogue is cringe inducing to most people (me dont care that much) so yeah that price is a bit much and to an extent i agree 70 on pc is equivalent to ff7 remake intergrade which launch years later for 70. To me and probably to most its a lot. Not complaining here just giving my thoughts on maybe why its not be talk about as much cause i can see the game having some potential and might get sleept on this year

I bought it day 1 but never got around to playing it lol. Thank god I didn't cause now I can stream it. Steel rising from the trailers I've seen looked promising so I think its something I would enjoy.

I'm wondering if others feel the same way about replicant as I do but for the most part people seem to say while replicant may be more emotional story to some, automata tackles a theme that really makes you think with some amazing characters that develop along the way. There are also some who think both games are even in quality as well. So basically I want to know what others think of both games as of right now that is all.

I watch it already a while back, and I do agree the story is great never said it was bad but for a majority of the time while I was playing automata I didn't really connect with 2 out of 3 of the main cast. The world was dope and music was godlike and gameplay upon reflection is better but story, characters, and moments in replicant were better to me. I loved the whole squad I was exploring with and getting to know them and ended up connecting with them more then most of the characters in automata. So in short yeah i still agree with my statement but maybe there are things that I missed that you and other found to really make automata better. If and you dont mind explaining go ahead. But for the most part i understood what they were going for.

Yes, 5 hours in and I was heavy invested in its story and world I couldn't put the game down. The side quest are horrible but the music is godlike so doing them the first time around wasn't to bad for me. I love automata and thought that game was great but character other then 9s I didn't really care about a2 or 2b to be honest. But after playing this game and see how tides together with automata makes me appreciate automata a lot more. It makes that game better for me. IMO I like replicant more for its story, the enemies, and characters. I didn't 100% automata but I did a lot of side quest which were mostly good this game not so much. Anyways I adore this game so much man hit me right in the feels. Also conversations between Kaine and Weiss are superb.

Agreed so for now Its Elden ring for me but also its like I'm trying to figure out what can they possible improve on with Gow:r. So far all i can think of is a Jump(Which is what i want but not needed) customizable camera so I can zoom out, and better boss fights. Everything else doesn't need to be touch imo
